After switching on the radio the display will show '****'

Rotate the [ VOLUME CONTROL ] until the first digit is displayed, then press the [ ^ ] to enter next digit, repeat this until all digits are entered.

To save the code press the [ SEL ] key.

Having replaced the battery on my Focus, them found that there was no radio code in any of the original sales documentation. Ford wanted �20 to get the code, which considering they had not supplied in the first place is a cheek.
