do not take the serial from a user guideNever take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Honda radio fitted to the car.  Instead, take the serial number from either a label or an engraving on the top or side of your Honda stereo, to ensure the supplied Honda radio code is accurate.

By using our online Honda radio decoding service, you not only save yourself money, but also time and the additional hassle involved. Most vehicle main dealers will require you to book an appointment and take the car and paperwork (v5 logbook) into them before they apply for the radio code.   Once they do apply for the code, 9/10 times it will be based on your vehicle registration or VIN number of the car itself, which is fine if you have owned the car from new. However, receiving the radio code days later only to find that it did not work is yet another inconvenience.

There are a number of reasons why a stereo code based on the vehicle registration or vin number may not work, including:

At Radio-Code, we don't provide radio codes based on the car, instead we provide the code based on the individual and unique serial number of the car radio, regardless of what it was fitted to originally.  Our radio codes have proven to be more accurate than main dealer's because of this.

What our customers have to say...

Thanks for a great service paid via Paypal received code straight away and worked a treat excellent service. Dexter Beekmeyer

Code received, works a treat, many thanks for quick response. Regards Steve. Steve Moore

Great service! Code received. As 'instant' as it says on the tin! Even more importantly - it works! Good value, even at the new price. The hints on how to enter the code also much appreciated, as no manual to hand. My 11-year old BMW is now restored to 'as original' condition with a proper BMW Radio/CD to replace the nasty after-market unit a previous owner had added. The guy who sold me the BMW/Blaupunkt unit reckoned it didn't need a code. I think he was confusing 'radio code' with the item being 'coded' (in BMW speak) to the vehicle, as some later BMWs have. I was sceptical, but went ahead with the purchase anyway. Without your system, the purchase would have been wasted, or a very expensive trip to the dealer (who would probably just pop round the back and quickly go online to your site anyway!). Thanks. Pleasure to be a customer with you. Real pleased I found your site. . Henry
